Incorporation Information
Haiti Aid Network has been registered as a not-for-profit in Washington State since January 27, 2007. (This information can be verified on the Washington State DOL website)

Washington state law does not require all charities to register with the Secretary of State's office. Haiti Aid Network is in legal complaince without registration. However, there have been many scams that have appeared since the tragic earthquake in Haiti. On request of our donors, our status with the Secretary of State Charitable Organizations is now pending. This may be confirmed by calling the State's Charities Program toll-free at 1.800.332.4483. The registration number for Haiti Aid Network is: 28305.

Currently, Haiti Aid Network has submitted 501(c)3 paperwork, but does not yet have confirmation of status from the IRS. The website will be updated to reflect when 501(c)3 status is confirmed. This status should be retroactive to include donations made during paperwork processing.
